3. Antrim

Antrim, a manufacturing and marketing centre, is situated where the Six Mile Water enters the north-eastern corner of Lough Neagh. By far the largest lake in Ireland or Great Britain is Lough Neagh. It is 17 miles (27 km) long and 11 miles (18 km) broad, and has an area of 153 square miles.

5. Ballintoy

West of Kenbane, before you come to White Park Bay, a beautiful crescent of sand, backed by cliffs, are Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, a salmon fishermen's bridge spanning an 80-foot (25m) chasm, and not for the faint-hearted, and picturesque Ballintoy Harbour. Much evidence of occupation by man from the neolithic period to the Iron Age has been found in this neighbourhood particularly at the caves in the bay. All this is well described on the one-mile-long (2km) whitepark Bay Nature Trail.
