21. Crumlin

Crumlin is famous for its Talnotry Cottage Bird Garden, which has a large collection of ornamental quail, pheasants, partridges, grouse and ducks. Ivy-covered walls surround the garden which is just next to the eighteenth century Talnotry Cottage, opposite an old mill chimney. A great variety of wild birds nest in the garden.

22. Cushendall

This attractive little town near the northern end of Red Bay, is an excellent centre for exploring the Antrim glens. In the town is a quaint old tower, built as a lock-up for 'idlers and rioters', and until recently used as a dwelling. Bathing, boating, fishing and golf (9) are among the holiday amenities.

23. Cushendun

Cushendun, once a highly fashionable watering place, is admired for the quaint Cornish architecture which Ronald McNeill, first (and last) Lord Cushendun, and his Cornish wife, Maud, commissioned from the famous Clough Williams-Ellis (1883-1977).
